Emily has lived in the Vancouver area all her life. She grew up in North Vancouver and attended UBC for both her undergraduate and law degrees. During law school, she put her passion for social justice to work by becoming heavily involved in the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, BC's largest student run legal aid organization. Through this program she gained experience working with low-income clients, and conducted mediations, negotiations, administrative hearings and criminal trials.
During her articles, Emily gained a broad experience in family law, child protection, and criminal law. Emily was called the bar earlier this year and is very excited to start her career with Atticus Legal. She is an avid balcony gardener, and loves painting, travelling and playing soccer.
